Eight NAT microgrid systems have been delivered to the Italian Army, following the successful testing carried out in November 2024.
In January 2025, the European INDY program ended: STRATEGIC ROADMAP TOWARDS 2030-2050: FUTURE ENERGY INDEPENDENT AND EFFICIENT DEPLOYABLE MILITARY CAMPS (www.indycamp.eu).
The project was funded under the EDF-2021 program, with the aim of supporting the full transition of EU military camps through the implementation of renewable energy sources, new technologies and disruptive energy solutions, with a strategic roadmap 2030-2050.
28 entities, including companies and research centers, from 13 European countries, collaborated on the INDY project.
Sira contributed to the project with its know-how on specialized Microgrid systems to power systems ensuring a very high availability of electrical energy.
